While I realize there is still a huge interest in copying and burning DVD movies, for now my site is focused on helping you buy or rent movies and TV shows on DVD, reviewing movies I watch, and pages featuring my favorite actors and actresses. Copyright issues are a very big deal in the TV and movies DVD industry.

My growing passion for viewing movies and television programs on DVD is a result of an increasing frustration with television viewing choices and a dread of being in crowded public places like the local cinemas or malls.

I refuse to pay for any television service until there is an option completely free of commercials - which will likely never happen. Even PBS has become less desirable over the past few years with their need for constant funding cutting into my favorite TV shows. In short, I no longer look to local television programming or the local cinemas for my entertainment. And I no longer need to.

It makes so much sense to have all my favorite television programs and all the movies I desire to possess on wonderfully travel-friendly DVD media that can literally be played anywhere on a portable compact DVD player. I feel privileged and thankful to have access to these small luxuries in my very ordinary life. It's wonderful to be able to kick back and relax anytime I like with programs that make me feel good.
